Campaigns are political startups; you start with little to no funding, no office space, and no infrastructure. In a short amount of time you have to build up everything. We secure funding, we build a product, and we launch it all by Election Day. There is no pushing back of the launch date. You either have done what you needed to by Election Day or you haven't. This experience is both highly stressful and incredibly exhilarating. When a problem arises you jump in and do what's needed even if it's not technically your job. Aside from my defined role, I’ve assisted on TV ad shoots, planned events, and managed candidates, spouses, key stakeholders, and top-level surrogates.

I've worked for Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO), Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), Governor Terry McAuliffe (D-VA), and It's On Us, an awareness campaign partnered with President Obama's White House to help put an end to sexual assault on college campuses. When I'm not working, you can find me out playing in the Rockies. I love skiing, hiking, fly-fishing, cycling, camping, a good IPA (especially from one of Colorado's own craft breweries), and pretty much any activity that gives me an excuse to escape to the mountains.

I'll always have my camera, GoPro, and/or Drone with me. I love making content so I can create memories and practice the skills I use as a digital marketing and content professional.
